What Students Say

Painters from around the world learn here at their own pace, with clear guidance and encouragement.

“I did tutorials with Louise from 2021 till 2023. Then I switched to other teachers on Patreon, also very nice but I discovered quickly that Louise is simply the best teacher and is offering a wide variety of techniques and subjects. She also has a superb knowledge of how to approach the subject. I also would like to do more water colour on aqua board, and Louise is in the process of discovering these too, so I am hoping she will continue with that every now and then. Conclusion: Louise is living for water colour and water colour makes her life. And I am just so lucky that Louise is sharing her life with us. Thank you so much Louise!”

Marianne

“I love Louise De Masi's tutorials for so many reasons. She is by far one of the best teachers out there. Her clear and thorough teaching style set you up for success regardless of your experience level. Her warm and generous spirit is just one of the many things that her students love and appreciate. I'm so happy to have joined her Patreon and look forward to many more painting experiences with her.”

Stephany

“I just wanted to let you know that I have perused countless tutorials and demos from a number of people on Patreon, YouTube and [Skillshare], but you are hands down the absolute best. I hope you love doing these tutorials for us, because I know all that subscribe love that you do them.”

Sonja

“Thank you, thank you, thank you for your [online class] videos. I have spent quite a lot of money on videos from artists that are not teachers! The fact that you break your paintings down is fantastic to me! I have been struggling so long and now I can use your videos to know exactly what I should do!!! Thank you so much. :-)”

Marian

“I found Louise De Masi's tutorials early in my watercolour journey. Louise is the best teaching artist I've found. She has the ability to break down techniques into small steps while also conveying alternative methods of achieving the same effect. I love the online format because I can stop as needed and start right where I left off. I am also able to replay sections again and again if I need more time to grasp the technique. Early on I joined her Facebook community and found support and feedback to further my learning. Her blog posts-newsletters provide additional learning opportunities in written format. Being a student of Louise has helped me grow from an absolute beginner (a non-artist) to an artist able to navigate advanced subjects and techniques. Thank you, Louise!”
