The Zebra Watercolour tutorial is specially crafted for intermediate to advanced artists. 

What you will learn:

  • Paint the shadows first because dark colours lift easily
  • Wet on wet technique - apply pigment to the wet paper, allowing colours to blend and create soft, flowing transitions.
  • Wet on dry technique - apply pigment to the dry paper, allowing for more controlled and defined brushstrokes and colour separation
  • Alter the tonal value on the stripes to paint the sunlight

Louise De Masi is a professional artist and qualified teacher with over 23 years experience. She is based in the gorgeous Mid North Coast of NSW, Australia.

Louise has been passionate about watercolours since 2011. She has sold paintings worldwide, licensed her work, and even co-written a book about painting sea life in watercolour.
